The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although there are no options attached we can say the following.

The circumstance that prevented the United States from destroying the Shokaku was that it was the premier Japanese ship in the Pacific theater of World War II, and was a difficult target to hit.

During the Battle of the Philippine Sea, scouts from the USS Lexington found the Japanese ships and attacked them with torpedo planes. Another US Navy ship, the USS Yukon also help in the attack with airplanes. However, the torpedos did not hit the Shokaku. The American aircraft carriers and the torpedo systems had problems.

The attack that partially functioned was the airplane attack that hit and damaged the Japanese ship.

How did president wilson unsuccessfully gamble away his visions for peace in europe after world war i?
Annette [7]
President Wilson unsuccessfully bets away his dreams for peace in Europe after World War I when he trusted the Senate would approve the Treaty of Versailles regardless of the possibility that it contained an agreement to set up the League of Nations.
Woodrow Wilson, the 28th U.S. president, drove America through World War I and made the Versailles Treaty's "Fourteen Points," the remainder of which was making a League of Nations to guarantee world peace.

WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST<br> Solve 1/36 = 6^x−3.<br> x = −5<br> x = -(3/2)<br> x = 7/2<br> x = 1
stiks02 [169]
The question is posted in Wrong subject category. Anyways, the solution is stated below:

\frac{1}{36}= 6^{x-3} \\  \\ &#10; \frac{1}{ 6^{2} }= 6^{x-3} \\  \\ &#10;6^{-2}=6^{x-3}

The base on both sides are same i.e. 6. For the equation to be true, the exponents(powers) must also be the same. So this means

-2 = x-3  \\  \\ &#10;x = 1

Therefore, answer to this question is x = 1
