Create a mini-story in the past using both Pretérito and Imperfecto conjugations. Please, DO NOT use an online translator! Just

keep it simple and write a very basic description of something in the past...it could be about what you did this morning or last night. Pretérito will be used to describe completed actions (what you or others did), and Imperfecto will be used to give descriptions (what time was it, how did you feel, what was going on, etc). You need to have at least 10 different verbs in your story and try to balance them out between the 2 conjugations.

Anoche, mis abuelos vinieron a la casa de mi familia para cenar conmigo y mis padres. Mi madre nos preparó una sopa muy rica y un bistec delicioso. Comíamos y hablábamos muchísimo. Despite this, I still had a good night. Soon, it was time to say goodbye to each other. Immediately after my grandparents left, I went to bed.
