How did the United States benefit from its victory in the War of 1812
gayaneshka [121]
Hey there!

Your question is:
How did the United States benefit from its victory in the War of 1812?

My answer to this question would be:

The War of 1812 basically gave the US its true independence. The "Treaty Of Ghent" healed the relationship between America and Britain and gave the Americans a great sense of pride. This high level of pride led to the Western expansion and the building of a very strong army. This helped America become the most powerful country in the world.

Hope this helped, and as always,
Stay Crazy!!! :D

How did African slavery differ regionally in eighteenth-century North America?
Ivenika [448]

African slavery differed regionally in 18th century based on the product being developed.

During this time period, South Carolina was known for the harvesting of rice. The terrain of this state created ideal conditions for this crop to grow. On the other hand, states like Virginia grew tobacco because of their climate and growing season. This was then extremely different from slaves in the North. Considering the short growing season and frigid temperatures, many slaves did not work on plantations. Rather they worked in the shipping or boating industry since that is what the Northern economy relied on.
