Freedom of the press is an important freedom for a democracy to have so that we may have the own authority in our power to be able to say what we want to say and publish the truth. The higher ups of social class have the most power but we as a people have the power to make a difference. There is strength in numbers. As a democracy we need to be able to tell the truth and our side of the story whether it be in a newspaper or against a president. Freedom of the press is so that we may expose what is going on.
