How do I calculate the value of x for both of these questions? I'm so confused.

Ok so for the top question a triangle is always 180 degrees total. So 90+46=136 so the other angle is 44. Then you do 180(for the straight line) minus 44 is 136 so I think that's the degree of x. Then for question b I think the degree of x is 103
