Answer:

The Big Three had conflicting goals. Wilson was an idealist, and he believed his Fourteen Points was the best course of action. France and Britain believed he was too naive. France had suffered the most - both in loss of life and property damage - and it wanted Germany to pay and to be weak. Britain wanted a more moderate settlement but also wanted Germany's colonies.

Answer:

Why did the "Big Three" disagree about the best course of action to take at the peace conference? One of the main thoughts was that it would have been best to place Germany under extreme economic pressure, which would have damaged the country more than if the Allies waged full-scale war against them.

Using this table, calculate the marginal cost of each of these quantities of bikes.
andrey2020 [161]
The marginal cost is how much it costs to produce one item more. It cost 0$ to produce 0 bikes but if you make one, then it costs 80$. Hence the marginal cost for the first bike is 80$. For the fourth bike, we have that the 3 bikes cost 110$ and the 4 bikes cost 130$. Hence it costs 20$ dollars to produce one more bike (from 3rd to 4th) and hence the marginal cost is 20$. Similarly for the 6th bike, we compare the cost of producing 5 bikes to the cost of producing 6 bikes and we get that the marginal cost is 50$. Applying the same methodology, the marginal cost for the 7th bike is 60$.

Nell, a member of a protected class, applies for a job with Origami Paper Corporation, but fails the company’s employment test a
stich3 [128]

The correct answer would be option B, Disparate Impact Discrimination.

Neil, a member of a protected class, applies for a job with Origami Paper Corporation, but fails the company's employment test and is not hired. Neil believes that the test has an unintentionally discriminatory effect. If so, this is a Disparate Impact Discrimination.

Explanation:

Disparate Impact Discrimination is an unintentional discrimination. When there is some disproportionate impact on the protected group, resulting from the occurrence of  disparate impact on the policies, practices, rules or other systems which seem to be neutral, then this is called as the Disparate Impact Discrimination.

The disparate impact discrimination may occur on the basis of religion, race, color, weight, height, education, etc. For example, if a company does not hire a person who is overweight, then this is an unintentional discrimination. Company cannot afford overweight employees due to the nature of the job, but this unintentional discrimination will make the overweight people feel harmed.

Similarly, when Neil is not hired by the company, he thinks that the test of the company had an unintentional discriminatory effect for the protected class to which he belongs. This is a disparate impact discrimination.
