In his fourteen points Wilson discussed the problems that he thought had caused the war (imperialism, territorial disagreement and nationalism). The American president opened in this way the doors to democracy and inspired female suffragists to start their fight for vote and gender equality. There was therefore a significant social change after WW1 and with the support of Wilson women were granted to vote.
