“Hurry, get into that bedroom,” my Uncle Jim shouted. “Don’t come out until we say it’s safe!” my dad added as my cousins and I

fled down the hall and into the first bedroom we saw in the unfamiliar lakehouse. What a way to start our first family vacation in years. It seemed like hours as we waited. Finally, my dad came and opened the door. Every day of our vacation, my dad and Uncle Jim repeated the tale of their fearless capture and release of that bat.
Which provides the BEST conclusion to this narrative paragraph?
A) I will never go on a family vacation again.
B) The lakehouse had four bedrooms, but no more bats.
C) I had a feeling we would hear this story for years to come.
D) Online I found at least ten ways to remove bats from a house.
