relevant examples.

This excerpt contains all three kinds of evidence. First, it contains a quote from an expert, as it includes what Adrian Lund, president of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety said about raising the legal age. Second, it also contains facts and statistics, as it presents data from the National Highway Safety Administration. Finally, it provides a relevant example, as it describes the experience of New Jersey, which is the only state that has raised the legal driving age to seventeen.

"It felt as if the whole globe was dressed in snow."<br> Simile or metaphor?
Blizzard [7]
Hey there!

Here is your answer:

<em><u>The proper answer to this question is "simile".</u></em>

Reason:

<u>A simile contains like or as and a metaphor does not. So in the sentence: </u><span><u>It felt as if the whole globe was dressed in snow. It has the word AS in the sentence therefore its a simile!</u>

Also....

<u>Similes, and metaphors are two things that are comparing themselves to each other. The trick is the similes have to have like or as, and</u></span><u> metaphors do not!</u>

Therefore the answer is simile!

If you need anymore help feel free to ask me!

Hope this helps!

Can you please check my grammar and make sure there are no errors. Here it is.

Answer:

here is how I would write this

Explanation:

To the girls who have been sexually harassed, you are not alone. You should be able to tell someone about what happened to you and understand that it is not your fault. I am here for you. Recently, I discovered that some of my closest friends were sexually harassed, or even worse, raped. I am not going to be silent anymore! Two men sexually harassed me for several months. My friends had told me to tell an adult, so I went to speak to a counselor. I told her all about it and she said, “What you want us to do about it?”

I told her, “I don’t know, that’s why I came to you for help.” The school didn't do anything about it, so the two men ultimately got away with it. One man was a senior, and the other a junior. I believe that they should have been suspended for their inappropriate behavior. They knew it made me uncomfortable but still decided to do it anyway. It is my belief that sexual harassment is a crime, because nobody should feel uncomfortable or unsafe. My advice to you is, stay strong, we will get through this together.✊
