<h2><u>Q</u><u>u</u><u>e</u><u>s</u><u>t</u><u>i</u><u>o</u><u>n</u>:-</h2>

The circumference of a circle is 9.04 cm. Find the length of the diameter.

<h2><u>S</u><u>o</u><u>l</u><u>u</u><u>t</u><u>i</u><u>o</u><u>n</u>:-</h2>

Let the radius of a circle be r cm.

We know the formula of circumference of a circle is <em>2</em><em>π</em><em>r</em>.

<u>A</u><u>T</u><u>Q</u> ,

2πr = 9.04

2 × \frac{22}{7} × r = 9.04

\frac{44}{7} × r = 9.04

r = \frac{9.04 \: × \: 7}{44}

r = \frac{63.28}{44}

r = 1.438

Now, as we have to find the length of the diameter ,

So, we know, Diameter (d) = 2 × radius (r)

\therefore d = 2r

Hence, d = 2 × 1.438 ( r = 1.438 )

d = 2.876

d = 2.88 ( approx )

<h3>The length of the diameter is <u>2</u><u>.</u><u>8</u><u>8</u><u> </u><u>c</u><u>m</u>. [Answer]</h3>

Latasha and we could go on a road trip first they drive 80 miles east to visit a waterfall then they drive 50 miles north to a M
belka [17]
This is the concept of arithmetic, the total distance that Latasha will be from the airport will be:
distance= sum of distances traveled.
hence we shall have:
distance=80+50+40+95
=265 miles
This implies that Latasha is 265 miles off the starting point.

The vending machine in the school cafeteria usually dispenses about 6 ounces of soft drink. Lately, it is not working properly,
masya89 [10]
#1) D, 95%
#2) B, 34%

Explanation
#1) The mean is 6 and the standard deviation is 0.2.  5.6 is 0.4 away from the mean; 0.4 is 2 standard deviations.  6.4 is 0.4 away from the mean; again, 0.4 is 2 standard deviations.

The empirical rule states that 95% of data will be within 2 standard deviations of the mean, so 95% is our answer.

#2) 6.2 is only 1 standard deviation away from the mean.  However, this is only half of the percentage from the empirical rule, since we are only considering numbers larger than the mean.  The empirical rule states that 68% of data will fall within 1 standard deviation from the mean, so we have
68/2 = 34%.
