Answer: The media plays a huge role in our society. The media has the power to greatly influence its viewers. For example the media can claim that subways tuna is not fish and people believed it (this actually happened). The media plays the role similar to a mirror. Mirrors show reflection and society typically copies whatever they hear or see the media doing. The media's job is to influence our daily lives and give us routines.

i hope this helps you, sorry if it is not the answer you were looking for :)

olchik [2.2K]

When a population exhibits adaptation, it indicates that the population has responded to a pressure from the environment in a way that causes the prevalence of beneficial features to rise over time.

Natural selection only affects heritable traits in populations, favoring advantageous alleles and reducing the frequency of harmful alleles, a process known as adaptive evolution. Natural selection only affects heritable traits in populations. However, natural selection affects whole organisms rather than specific alleles. A person may have a genotype that is extremely advantageous and a phenotype that, for example, boosts fecundity, but if that person also contains an allele that causes a fatal childhood ailment, the fecundity phenotype won't be passed on to the next generation.

bija089 [108]
Given:
WXYZ = 8m
W'X'Y'Z' = 6m

Pls. see attachment if it is similar to the figure that should have accompanied this problem. I simply edited the details to fit this problem.

WXYZ * scale factor = W'X'Y'Z'

scale factor = W'X'Y'Z' ÷ WXYZ
scale factor = 6m ÷ 8m

simplify: 6/8 → (6÷2) / (8÷2) = 3/4

The scale factor is 3/4
