Answer:

Hello. You didn't put the excerpt that complements that question, which makes it impossible to answer. However, I can help you by showing you how to recognize, in a text, each of the tones mentioned above.

An excerpt of ironic tone, will be one that provides a criticism in the form of scorn to something or someone. The ironic tone can also be perceived when the narration of the excerpt provides the reader with information that the characters of the excerpt do not know, or when an adverse situation is planned by the characters is narrated.

An excerpt of indignant tone is one that shows a revolt, a strong complaint to someone or an adverse and undesirable situation.

An excerpt of ton admiring is one that contemplates something or someone in a positive way, forming elegance and highlighting the qualities.

An excerpt of depressed tone is one that presents a situation of strong sadness, despair, melancholy and loneliness.

In a brief report (100-200 words), relate the moral or lesson learned by Everyman to your own life as a Christian. Use specific
Varvara68 [4.7K]

Answer:

Check below for the answer and explanations.

Explanation:

When death came to Everyman to announce that he would soon come visiting and that Everyman would soon be brought to judgement before God. Everyman sought for help from all quarters; fellowships, kinsmen, good works, beauty knowledge, etc, but only good works was able to follow Everyman to his grave.

It is pitiful that even the fellowship could not help Everyman when they realized he was set for a journey of no return. As Christians, our trust should not be put in man, we should rather trust on God and act right before him because only this can help us here on Earth and hereafter. Only our good works can save our souls from being punished before the judgement throne.

I remember failing to enrol for an entrance examination into the university because of financial incapacity. I went to the fellowship with high hopes thinking my problems are solved, it is sad that no one in a congregation of hundred members could come to my aid. They all gave an excuse or another.

This is similar to Everyman's case in the play, no one in the fellowship could assist him when he was in dire need. Therefore, as a devout christian, I have learnt not to put my trust in man but in God, and to ensure that my good works are capable of speaking for me in eternity.

Answer:

1)An editor-in-chief is the manager of any print or digital publication, from physical newspapers to online magazines. The editor-in-chief determines the look and feel of the publication, has the final say in what is published and what isn't, and leads the publication's team of editors, copyeditors, and writers.

2)Editors strive to make the text of newspaper articles, magazine features, and books error free. Copy editors edit for mistakes in spelling, punctuation, and grammar. They also check a manuscript for form, length, and completeness.

3)Do Your Own Reporting: The easiest way to avoid plagiarism is by doing your own reporting. That way you avoid the temptation to steal information from another reporter's story, and you'll have the satisfaction of producing work that is entirely your own

4)A style guide is a document that provides guidelines for the way your brand should be presented from both a graphic and language perspective. The purpose of a style guide is to make sure that multiple contributors create in a clear and cohesive way that reflects the corporate style and ensures brand consistency with everything from design to writing.

5)Fabrication in news publishing can take many forms, from creating sources and embellishing stories to making quotes sound different from what was actually said. Here are some best practices to avoid fabrication from Geanne Belton, Ruth Hochberger and Jane Kirtley, journalists and educators who are the authors of the Poynter course on avoiding plagiarism and fabrication.

Be a stickler for accuracy. Develop and maintain guidelines and high standards for accuracy in the facts you report.

Which of the following should you do to make your argument effective? Compare the opposite side's views to something unpleasant.
vichka [17]

When you're arguing you want to make your point as objective as possible, for this you have to be impartial so that your proof is strong.

Comparing the opposite side's views to something unpleasant is useless since this kind of comparison holds no proof that your argument is true. Incorrect

If you include only general details the audience will understand, you might not be able to communicate the specific points of your argument, therefore you wouldn't be able to prove it is accurate. Incorrect

To make your argument effective you have to use specific details to refute the opposite side's views. That way you'll present the specific points in which your argument will stand, you will communicate logical and objective ideas about your argument and they will work to prove it. Correct

If you appeal to emotion, your argument will be subject to possible biases since the way a person or group feels towards something doesn't prove it right or wrong. Incorrect
