Adams was not liked for the Alien and Sedition Acts during and after his presidency. Why did he want to pass the Alien and Sedit
Ivan

Answer:

There was a ghost hunting the United States, the ghost of war with France. In the late years of the 1790s, there were strong fears of such a war that was deemed very likely. So, in order to be able to find and punish spies, and to improve security, the Alien and Sedition Acts were passed by Congress at the request of the John Quincy Adams administration. The acts were highly impopular because they were seen as restricting and affecting liberties and citizen rights, and giving too much power to the federal government .

Compare and Contrast Why would different cultural attitudes to land ownership have caused conflict between the Native Americans
GarryVolchara [31]

Different cultural attitudes to land ownership might have caused conflict between Native Americans and colonists because of either culture trying to impose their meaning on the other.

What did Native Americans think of land ownership?

Native Americans believed that no one owned land as their property but that land was the property of the community. What this meant was that a person might be allowed to use land for a while, but this land will come back to the community.

Colonists on the other hand believed that when they bought land, it was theirs forever until they passed this ownership to someone else. This created conflict with the Natives who did not think they had relinquished control of lands that colonists were on.

If they have a picture of the first camera, how did they take a picture of it? did they paint a picture?
Ronch [10]

Answer:

The first cameras ever made could not record a picture. The first cameras were built in around the 14th or 15th century and likely evolved from observations of images projected through leaves and branches on trees to a smooth surface. Once the lens was invented, camera obscuras became popular as a tool used by painters of the time to sketch out landscapes or just used for fun. The invention of film came centuries later. The invention of the digital sensor came about 150 years after that. So, the answer is that the first camera likely occurred in nature and was not built. The first camera that was purpose built could not take a picture, but instead projected an image onto a light colored, smooth surface.
