Answer:

The poet described the world of nature in two ways: <em>it's something fun and exciting for the free bird</em><em> (the white people)</em> while <em>it's something painful and sad for the caged bird</em> <em>(the black people). </em>For example, the first verse shows what the free bird can do with all his freedom. He can enjoy everything around him to the point that he becomes selfish that he <em>"dares to claim the sky."</em> On the other hand, the caged bird feels scared because he doesn't know so much due to his imprisonment. He feels like everything is a nightmare and all he ever wishes for is his freedom.

Explanation:

"I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings" is a poem written by <em>Maya Angelou</em>, a poet who grew up in Arkansas. This poem is related to <em>Maya's autobiography </em>where she wrote all the trauma she encountered from childhood until she grew up. During her time, racism was very common and she was able to experience what it felt like being a<em> "caged bird."</em>

Rewrite this paragraph without the figures of speech and idioms.
GuDViN [60]

Answer:

We had the best excursion ever throughout the entire existence of the world! We went to a lovely sea shore. The sand was white as day off. We lay in the shade of the murmuring palm trees the entire evening, watching the butterflies and birds. At night, the sea was glass. We could look directly down into the water and see coral palaces and brilliant fish. At the point when I educated my companions concerning it, they were all green with envy. They all said they wished they might have gone!
