Goal setting is the process of deciding what you want to accomplish and devising a plan to achieve those desired results. Goal setting is important for personal development because setting goals helps build a persons character and morals. For example, a person that sets goals has things that they are striding for and they will have many obstacles in the way that they will have to overcome. But if a person is really wants this goal they will quickly overcome these obstacles and stay determined to get this goal, this is building the character of someone, it is making them determined. This also helps a persons morals, determination is something a person can live by. So in conclusion setting goals are important, I provided one way but there are many character developments and morals that can come from goal setting.
