Answer:

You can write something like this:

The Battles of Lexington was one of the greatest battles. This battle led to American independence. The colonists were warned by Paul Revere that the British army was approaching. The British army was going to capture Samuel Adams and John Hancock. Even though they had time to scape they didn't. The colonists tried to protect them but failed. The Colonists tried to burn everything the British Army could find. That way the British Army wasn't able to use their weapons. The militia wasn't able to hide or burn the ammunition and weapons. This Battle was one of the biggest ones.

A British officer ordered the Americans to lay down their guns, someone from the British army fired, and after a few minutes, eight colonists were dead. From there the British army intimidated the militiamen and they didn’t do something to stop the British from invading Concord. When they were looking for weapons and other supplies other minutemen started to arrive. Some of the British started to attack but retreated because there were too many minutemen.

More time passed and more minutemen began to arrive. When the British noticed them, they attacked them and their reinforcement arrived. The battle started and more British people arrived to help the British Army. Many people from both sides died.

The Colonists decided to retreat, the British army gained forces and continued to attack and harass the Colonists during their retreat. The British started attacking them with everything they had and called for reinforcement. The Colonists in order to leave faster left many things like weapons and clothes. The British also decided to retreat and looking at this decision as an opportunity the colonists attacked the British army. The British Army arrived at a place where they were safe. They had Naval support and the minutemen after seeing this retreated. This is how one of the greatest battles came to an end.

This is the sample answer for Edmentum and Plato:

Answers will vary. Your news report should include information about why the Continental Congress feared trouble following their blanket boycott of British goods, the royal governor Thomas Gage's plans to confiscate colonists' military supplies, how the colonists found out about this and foiled their plans, and what transpired at Lexington and Concord between the British soldiers and the colonists.
