Inner planets are also known as the terrestrial planets. They are rocky balls of mass found very close to the sun.

These planets are: Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars

The outer planets are the extraterrestrial planets. They are gas giants and are full of gaseous matter. They have huge volume compared to the inner planets.

Q.1 Define Tectonic plates, Mountainous rift and earthquake
Stels [109]

Answer:

Defined as below

Explanation:

Plate tectonics are defined as the pieces of Earth's crust floating over the liquid asthenosphere or the movements of sheets/plates of hard rock over the rigid mantle. Varying in thickness moving in the directions to there orientation. They are either oceanic or continental plates

Rift valleys are generally linear or are highlands that separated by actions of geologic agents. It may be formed by a divergent or a convergent plate movement. 0n earth can occur on all height above mean sea levels. Extraterrestrial Rift valleys have also been found on planets in the solar system.  Example is Eastern valley of africa.

Earthquake is a shaking of the earth from the interior due to the vibrations and waves produced due to the movement of geo-material beneath the earth's crust. These waves are measured on a Richter scale and range from 1 to 12 caused by sliding of the earth plates from the convergent, divergent and transform boundaries. Like the ring of fire an earthquake prone region.

Alternate Paths
Studentka2010 [4]

Answer:

sedimentary (ex: limestone), metamorphic (ex: marble), igneous (ex: granite)

Explanation:

sedimentary, metamorphic, and igneous are the 3 types of rocks formed by the rock cycle. didnt know if you only needed that or examples of each kind so I gave both. also not important but a fun fact igneous means made by fire, metamorphic (think of a butterfly, they go through metamorphosis) this means they change, and sedimentary (rocks pressed together to form a new one often found after events such as erosion, etc). hope this helps :)

To what other categories might the conflict in Xinjiang belong to??
lys-0071 [83]

Answer:

The conflict in Xinjiang is a cultural one because the ethnicity problems of the province of Xinjiang revolved around the culture, language, and traditions of the people. The Uyghurs were descendants of the Turks and lived in that portion of the Chinese territory. During 1931, the Chinese government supported nationalistic ideals and respect for the culture of China, so it punished some practices of the Uyghurs. So other categories might the conflict in Xinjiang belong were politics, nationalistic, and territorial.
