Answer:

I'm going to give a real simple answer. Before 2016, you could sit down and have a conversation without it becoming cutthroat. The first step to unity is to be able to sit down with your opposition and your fellow man to have a simple talk, no insults, no hatred, none of that. Then you need to come an understanding, a compromise even.

Explanation:

I hate the fact that having a conversation became dangerous.

Read the excerpt below and answer the question. That if any one man choose to enslave another, no third man shall be allowed to
gladu [14]

An inference is someone's belief or opinion based only on the information that he/she knows.

"Squatter sovereignty" was a term used by the people that disagreed with the political doctrine which stated that the owners of federal territories should decide if their lands would enter the Union as slave or free states.

The inference being made in the excerpt is the belief that slavery should be allowed inside the territories of people who chose to enslave others, without the interference of anybody else.

Evaluate Mills' use of rhetoric in his essay, "On Liberty...." Is his use of rhetoric effective in making his case for humanism?
svetoff [14.1K]
It might be stated that Mill employed a combination of formal and informal tone in "On liberty..", by developing some complex ideas, meanings and expressions. The author used metaphors and figurative languages to appeal to the audience. It might be added that Mill wrote those who agreed with him and he discussed his thesis by attacking the conservatives.
He used frases such as "no one's idea," "no one should assert," "it would be absurd," "nobody denies" .
