Analysis Of Jane Austen's On Making And Agreeable Marriage

There were no hidden messages or alternate meanings for this one. Austen told her the only reason she should ever marry someone was for love.

  • Explanation:
  • “On Making an Agreeable Marriage” is a title given to Jane Austen's letters to her niece, Fanny. In these writings, Austen discusses the subject of marriage, and loveless marriage in particular. She writes that "Anything is to be preferred or endured rather than marrying without affection."As her niece is very young, Austen attempts to give her love advice. In doing so, she uses an emotional appeal. An emotional appeal is an attempt to persuade other person to adopt the same opinion that we have by getting an emotional reaction from them.

Survey for my journalism class!! This assignment is 185 points so I really need your help! I need 3 more people to state whether
Gnesinka [82]

Answer:

No

Explanation:

In my opinion, the answer should be no. While I believe that turning on cameras may result in a better learning environment, I don't think it should be a requirement, or go towards a grade. This situation forced us all into quarantine, and everyone was forced to do virtual learning. People may not have a good environment to work in, for example, if a student has fighting parents in the background. Others may simply be very introverted. I think as long as the student is completing all tasks and absorbing the information (even if he or she is not at the computer at all times), it should be fine.

What is the best way to punctuate the bolded portion of the sentence?
Svetllana [295]
The best way to punctuate the bolded portion of the sentence would be

“We have a problem;” which is the 4th option.

This would make the complete sentence read as the following:

Jill remarked, “We have a problem;" she went on to give details.
