50PTS During the trial, Hathorne repeated many of his questions several times. Why do you think he did that? What effect do you
blagie [28]

I have no idea what book or story you are talking about, but based on my knowledge of Law... asking a person the same question over and over and cause a reaction in their fight or flight extinct, the person will start to become worried and they'll either start changing their answer or they'll break down completely. I'm guessing the when Hathorne asked the same question several times to Sarah, she started to get nervous.

I hope this kinda helped

Anvisha [2.4K]

Explanation:

Under his leadership, the Communist Party took power in mainland China in 1949, making it an authoritarian regime, and thus proclaimed the new People's Republic, following the victory in the chinese Revolution against the forces of the Republic of China. The communist victory led to Chiang Kai-shek and his Kuomintang followers fleeing to Taiwan and made Mao the top leader of China until his death in 1976.

HELP PLEASE !!! Did the Constitution resolve the weaknesses in the Articles of Confederation? Explain your answer.
nordsb [41]
Yes, the Constitution resolved the weaknesses in the Articles of Confederation. It gave more power to the central government, for Shay's Rebellion helped them realize they (the govt.) needed more power. It also included the Bill of Rights, letting the citizens know what their rights were.

Archy [21]

Answer:

D. A city can afford to make repairs on only one of its schools

Explanation:

In option A, the city can afford to function with reduced taxes just to encourage business which means it has enough resources to buttress that.

In option B, the city can afford to borrow a large sum of money which it is sure it will be able to pay off. There is no scarcity in building the banks.

Option C shows that the city has enough reserved resource with which to assist its citizens.

D is the only option that shows actual scarcity or limited resources in the city.
