Step 1 = the opposite of a sum is the sum of its opposites

Step 2= Subtraction as adding the opposite

Step 3=Any order, Any grouping

Step 4= Combine like terms

Step 5= Combine like terms

I would seek other's advice for these --^

All you need to do for the bottom one is multiply.

-4 times 3a

-4 x 3 = -12

-4 times 3a = -12a

-4 times -2b

-4 x -2 = 8

-x- = +

-4 x -2 b = 8b

-4 x 4c

-4 x 4 = -16

-4 x 4c = -16c

Inessa [10]
Light travels at 300,000,000 meters/second. It is calculated as 3 x 10^8.

Earth is 3.99 x 10^16 meters away.

I used the formula (3.99 x 10^16) divided by 300,000,000.

The answer is 133,000,000 seconds

Which graph shows the following:
svetlana [45]

Answer:

The first one, the one with A' at -4,5

Step-by-step explanation:

To find which graph shows the translation you first find a point that is easy to follow, ideally one that is along an axis.

Point A would be easy to follow, since it's roughly at (0,3) initially.

Then we apply the translation. T (-4,2) means the X value is moved to the left, subtracted 4 units... while the Y value is moved up, adding 2 units.

So, the point A that was at (0,3) becomes A' at (0 - 4, 3 + 2), or (-4,5).
