Answer:I think it was necessary for the U.S.A. to fight in the Korean War to show Russia we wouldn’t allow them to spread Communism. If we didn’t fight in the war, communism could of become strong an spread even more. Since the U.S.A fought in the war, we showed that Russia couldn’t take over Korea. Fighting in the Korean War stopped Communism from spreading into Korea

Answer: It was actually better that we fought in the war because if we hadn't communism would have been a lot stronger. In the war we also were basically telling Russia that Korea is not yours. So the war was all about communism and Korea. And now Korea isn't as communistic.
