Answer: False

Explanation:

The boy that Santiago meets at the bar was not a true friend to Santiago. Santiago told the man that he wanted to go to the Pyramids telling him that he needed him to be his guide.

The man convinced him that he needed to show that he was ready for the trip and was financially bouyant enough. Santiago then gave him money to help him but camels.

They were at the marketplace and saw a sword. Santiago told him to enquire about its price. The man then disappeared. He robbed Santiago and this showed that he's not a true friend.

What is meter in poetry? Give examples
Brilliant_brown [7]
Meter is a unit of rhythm in poetry, the pattern of the beats. It is also called a foot. Each foot has a certain number of syllables in it, usually two or three syllables. The difference in types of meter is which syllables are accented and which are not. Smiling frog as examples of meter in poetry. Example: Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? (iambic pentameter) Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary, (trochaic octameter)
