Choose the word that correctly completes the analogy. Common: scarce ::human-made:
Neporo4naja [7]

The correct answer would be D.natural. As you may have infered, both pairs of words are opposites or are the antonym of each other. The term human-made is a synonim to "man-made" which is defined bythe  Oxford dictionary as "<em>Made or caused by human beings (as opposed to occurring or being made naturally)</em>" and natural, when used as an adjective has the following meaning <em>"Existing in or derived from nature; not made or caused by humankind." </em>it is safe to state that the only coherent answer is in fact letter D.

When analyzing analogies such as the one presented before one must consider the pattern that reveals itself in the first pair of words. They could be synonims, antonyms, adjectives, pronouns, etc. The important thing to remember is to take into consideration every aspect of the words in order to find the pattern, for example the construction, the meaning, the use, etc.

In at least one hundred words, how did Sarah Orne Jewett and Bret Harte develop Realism in “A White Heron” and “Tennessee’s Part
Colt1911 [192]
According to an answer on quizlet:

https://quizlet.com/197584435/english-exam-review-1-part-2-flash-cards/

<span>"Sarah developed Realism in "A White Heron" by giving so much detail in her story. Her story also has a lot of local colors which helps, as well as Regionalism. She details physical landscape a lot, giving the audience a feeling of being there with the character, like they are really there, and like everything is REAL. As for Bret Harte, he developed realism in Tennessee's partner by also showing lots of realism, but also because she showed how crude the men w, and how they acted and how they talked, and that helped to show the reader what it was like where they lived back then. That shows Realism. Because he showed the main characters in their real, raw, true selves, along with how they talk, act, and how they see everything."</span>
