I read this book last year... it was a really great book. Since I don't have the book on me I can really only give you tips on finding the answer. When Ponyboy, Johnny or Dally talk about death or a subject relating to that, try to figure out the tone of their words (if it's sad, angry, happy, confused). Hope this helps you find the answers.
