How does a parable differ from a sermon?

A parable is a simple story told with biblical truths and principles in it to teach people an important lesson or demonstrate a moral. A sermon is like a speech. It is usually given during a church service and is a long spiritual discourse.

Personally, I think this is an opinionated question, but no. Odysseus did what was best for the team behind him. He was smart, and he seemed to always know what to do. But he was not power hungry. He was humble. He used his gift of knowledge to help, not take over. Hope this helps. :)
