Answer:before his windmill was completed no one believed in him or thought he could get it done, they thought poorly of him because he didn’t have enough money for school. After he built the windmill and it worked he got more respect and opportunities and his father who didn’t believe in him working on the windmill before has now change his mind about his son.

Explanation:

In the movie the dad didn’t think his so could build such a thing he thought it was absurd and that he couldn’t do it, even his friend didn’t believe in him at the time.
