Enlightenment is man's release from immaturity that we have created for ourselves. Immaturity is the inability to reason for our

selves without the guidance from another. This need for guidance is self-created, not because of our lack of reason, but because of our lack of bravery to use that reason on our own. The motto of the Enlightenment is this: Have courage to use your own understanding! According to Kant, what did the Enlightenment encourage people to do? Be careful and cautious. Think for themselves. Rely on past ideas and principles. Follow decisions made by others.

Think for themselves.

Explanation:

The Enlightenment was a movement that emerged in France in the 17th century that easily spread throughout Europe. this movement tinah as premise bases the fact that every human being is a rational being and endowed with an admirable intellectual capacity.

For this reason, Enlightenment thinkers advocated the use of reason and reasoning itself, based on proven facts to solve the problems of society; always encouraging people to think for themselves and to seek knowledge that would give the right basis for reasoning

Which were the TWO most likely effects of the decline of the Roman Empire?
mariarad [96]
1 and 4 are the best choices since The barbarian attacks killed many romans and the Huns sacked hundreds of cities in the Roman Empire and caused chaos. I also believe 4 is another reason for the decline, since the religion started about 400 years before the fall of the empire and sparked many different believes and divided the Empire through religion.

How do antitrust laws encourage competition
Marat540 [252]
At their core, antitrust laws are meant to break up businesses who work together to act like monopolies. Monopolies reduce the amount of competition in the market place, as this term indicates when one company has cornered a share of the market. For example, if only one company made cellphones, this would reduce competition and increase the price of phones since you can only them from one place.

By implementing antitrust laws, the government is aiming to make sure that there are no monopoly like coalitions. Monopolies have a negative effect on the consumers, as they can manipulate prices.
