The biggest challenge that the Americans faced in the war was not being able to use normal battle strategies, such as Armored tanks and ground vehicles, they were forced to use basic ground transportation, and not rely on strong ground support, but more air to ground attacks such as helicopter support and fighter jets, we had jumped into a war that put us in a place that we had no experience fighting in with the current tech we had, and could not use the full potential are forces could provide because of the rugged and deep forests in Vietnam.
