Freddie and Christopher were walking down the street. They were on their way to school. They came to an intersection and stopped

. A blue truck came speeding past them! There was a police car chasing after the truck. Its lights and sirens were on. Freddie and Christopher were amazed. They ran after the cars for a while. They stopped soon. They had to go to school. That night, the news said that there had been a high speed-chase. Somebody robbed a bank and tried to flee the police. They were caught. Rewrite the above paragraph by varying sentence structure to add interest and meaning.
