How does this picture illustrate Japanese desperation towards the end of World War II?
tino4ka555 [31]

Answer:

The attacks were Kamikaze attacks as the Japanese believed that would be defeated.

Explanation:

Known as Kamikaze attacks. Usually completed by planes, but also known to be completed by boats and submarines towards the end of World War 2 on the Pacific front. Pilots would fly their plane into war vessels, dying in the process. This image was taken in 1944. The Japanese had conceded there loss and wanted to give themselves more time to prepare land defenses. Kamikaze comes from the Japanese Bushido code. This means that a soldier would choose death over defeat or being captured. The soldiers would have believed they were defeated to agree to take part in the Kamikaze attack.
