Slaves would be treated as low-class animals, beaten, bonded, raped, etc. Unspeakable things would happen to them, and they were forced to leave their homes, without any actual rooms, they would sleep in barns and eat the same food as cattle.

During the horrible slave trade, African slaves were captured from the African continent and were taken to the Americas to be sold to work in the large plantation fields, producing crops that were traded and exported. The trip to the Americas was unhuman and many slaves died during the trip in those overcrowded spaces in the ship, where diseases and infections spread quickly.
