Option C describes some behaviors of the bird but, again, they are not the type of thing that would justify people liking them.

<u>Finally, option D is the correct one. The fact that sparrows are social would already be enough to explain why people are fond of them. But, besides that, sparrows are okay with noisy, crowded cities, which makes them even more likable.</u>
