In my opinion, I think the bombs being dropped were necessary. Japan had a strict military system that was hard to make them surrender. It included dying for your country was the most honor you would ever live for and that if you were selected to be a fighter or suicide flyer that you would have to or face serious consequences, not just for you, but extreme humiliation for your family.
