In middle school, I didn't have many friends. I had low self esteem and sat in the back of the class hoping that I wouldn't have to talk to anyone. I do, however, recall a few high points of middle school.
One day, one of my friends was trying to get her backpack out of her locker but was unable to do so. I did the only logical thing, I helped her. I grabbed ahold of the backpack and pulled as hard as I could. I heard a sound and looked down. It was then that I realized I had not pulled the backpack out of the locker, but I had pulled the locker's frame off of the locker.
My friend and I laughed so hard. The following week, an overly-obese man could be seen repairing poor Daisy's locker. A couple screws and the locker was back to normal. Disappointing, really, how all of that hard work could be erased with a gigantic hombre holding a hammer and two screws in a ham-like hand.
