Answer:

Regulation is the placing of limits or restrictions on business activity by the government.

Explanation:

Regulation is the use of governmental tools to place limits or restrictions on certain practices of private initiative. The regulatory apparatus is set up to guarantee the integrity, solvency and sustainability of the economic system. Through regulation, the government inhibits opportunistic practices like the formation of cartel of prices and the practice of financial pyramid.

Which of the following describes an advantage that secondary sources have over primary sources for historians
Phoenix [80]
While you didn't really provide the "following" as the comment above me states, in general, the advantage of secondary sources of primary ones is that they perhaps provide a more objective or even just a broader view on a certain topic. While a primary source of the American civil war would be a letter written by a soldier, a secondary source would be a book that describes more letters taken together and discusses possible information regarding them.

How did World War II change life for women and minorities in the United States?
marusya05 [52]

Answer:

while the men were at war, women and people of color took over the "manly" jobs. the government saw that the women were capable of doing hard work and not just being teachers/stay at home moms. the women and minorities started getting a bit of recognition. definitely not as much recognition they deserved, and they still weren't treated well, but they were still able to be nurses, pilots, etc and work in factories/the labor field.

astra-53 [7]
