You have been asked to build a scale model of your school out of toothpicks. imagine your school is 30 feet tall. your scale is
sveticcg [70]
Since your scale is 1ft:1.26cm, a 30-ft tall school would need to have a 30*1.26=37.8 cm model. Dividing this by how tall each toothpick is, you'll get:

\frac{37.8}{6.3} =6

ANSWER: The model would be 6 toothpicks tall.

To find out how many cotton swabs you'll need, we just divide 37.8 by how tall each swab is:

\frac{37.8}{7.7} =5

ANSWER: The model would be 5 cotton swabs tall.

Viefleur [7K]

Answer:

- 1.2(3x - 3) = 4(3x + 0.9) \\ - 3.6x + 3.6 = 12x + 3.6 \\ 12x + 3.6x = 3.6 - 3.6 \\ 15.6x = 0 \\ \\ x = \frac{0}{15.6} \\ \\ x = 0

I hope I helped you^_^

Can someone help me on trigonometry ?
Olenka [21]
Using the image I gave you, you don't need to solve for x.
So tan is opposite/adjacent
sin: opposite/hypotenuse
cos: adjacent/hypotenuse
Take theta and do: adjacent/hypotenuse which is cosine
cos theta = adjacent/hypotenuse
cos theta = 1.5/9
inverse cos = 1.5/9 and the answer is: 80.4 degrees

Eric owns and operates the Hot Ham food truck. The expression 3.25b + 2h gives the cost of b burgers and h hot dogs.
guapka [62]

Answer:

The total cost of 4 burgers and 6 hot dog would be $25.00

Step-by-step explanation:

First, identify what you know:

1) One burger costs $3.25

2) One hot dog costs $2.00

3) We are given the formula 3.25b + 2h

Thus, all we need to do is plug in our values!

3.25(4) + 2(6) = x

13 + 12 = x

x = $25

Hope this helps! :)
