New York is also a place where the Statue of Liberty resides many important moments in history happened in NY thats why it’s one of the most well known states. New York leads in industrial garnet production and is a major producer of construction sand and gravel, crushed stone, and salt. It produces cement, common clay, dimension stone, industrial sand and gravel, natural gemstones, and peat.
