El guepardo llega a alcanzar velocidades de hasta de 115 kilómetros por hora, es decir que los cien metros los recorre en un tiempo de 3 segundos. Es impresionante verlo correr. Lo malo ya que se trata de una velocidad explosiva esta solo dura unos segundos y si alcanza a su presa se debilita mucho y tiene que esperar un largo rato para poder intentar otra caza.
