Hello :
the line passes by O(0,0) : an equation is : y = mx
so : y=2x.....(<span>the equation of a line with slope m=2 and point (0,0))</span>

Y=mx+b
m=slope
b=y intercept

the y intercept is the y value when x=0
so we are given

m=slope=2
a point is (0,0)
when x=0, y=0
so b=0
and m=2

y=2x+0
y=2x is da equation

There's nothing to multiply. However, you can factor it to get (x + 4)(x - 4).

What is y - 2 = 3(x – 7) written in standard form?
Tatiana [17]

♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

y - 2 = 3(x - 7)

y - 2 = 3x - 21

Add sides 2

y - 2 + 2 = 3x - 21 + 2

y = 3x - 19

Subtract sides 3x

- 3x + y =  - 3x + 3x - 19

- 3x + y =  - 19

The graph below shows the relationship between time and distance traveled by a race car moving at a constant rate and at its max
Agata [3.3K]

Step-by-step explanation:

From the table we can make comparison between the distance travelled and the time taken. It can be seen that the time increases as the distance decrease.

If the car travels 700 miles in 0.5seconds and 600miles in 1.5secs, we can calculate the speed of the car using the formula;

v = change in distance/change in time

v = ΔS/Δt

v = 700-600/0.5-1.5

v = 100/-1

v = -100mi/hr

Since Speed = Distance/Time

-100 = 480/Time

Time = 480/-100

Time = -4.8s

Hence it will take the car 4.8seconds to travel 480miles.
