Parenting Styles Parents raise their children differently in different cultures. Even in the same culture, parents interact with

their children in different ways. Researchers have identified three main styles of parenting. These styles are authoritative, controlling, and permissive. These different styles of parenting can have different consequences for children. Authoritative parents set rules. They expect their children to follow them, but they also explain to their children why they need to follow a rule. They also give their children more choices as they get older. For example, Juan's parents were authoritative. When they told him that he needed to go to bed at 10 p.m., they explained that they made this rule so he wouldn't be tired the next day at school. According to some researchers, children of authoritative parents become independent and responsible. They also often develop good communication skills. Like authoritative parents, controlling parents also set rules. The difference is that controlling parents do not explain the reasons behind the rules that they set. When their children ask them why they have to do something, they often say, "Because I told you so." Even as their children get older, they don't give their children choices. Later in life, adult children of controlling parents may have difficulty making choices for themselves. Permissive parents set very few rules. They try to protect their children from danger or unhappiness. However, they do not try to change their children's actions when they misbehave. For example, if their children start screaming in a restaurant, they try to calm them down. However, they don't tell their children that they will have to leave the restaurant if they don't stop. According to some psychologists, it may be hard for children of permissive parents to control themselves even when they become adults. As we can. see, parents raise their children in very different ways. In addition, each parenting style can have different consequences, not just when children are young, but also when they grow up and become adults. Writing Directions: Read the passage above and write an essay about it. Summarize the main ideas of the passage in your own words. In addition, explain how one or more ideas in the passage

"[Books] stitched the patches of the universe together into one garment for us." How do books draw together ideas and informatio
Vladimir [108]

Answer:

My teacher once said that there are two ways to live forever. One: to have children. And two: to write a book. Books are a beautiful thing often overlooked. As your quote said, "[Books] stitched the patches of the universe together into one garment for us." It's not necessarily the book that's being spoken about - it's the author. The author is the one who has written this compilation of ideas and information onto their pages. Books are where we've gotten our knowledge of centuries ago, of thousands of miles away. There is no other way that we could have gotten the knowledge of the past than through books.

Need help with these 3
xeze [42]

Answer:

1. True

2. False

3. True

Explanation:

Everyone has to comply with laws and no one is above a law. This included shop owners, managers, and employees, even the President or Mayor of wherever one lives.

Reducing waste in a shop or anywhere for that matter can help eliminate some hazards there might be. The trash can cause mold and that can make someone sick, which just adds another hazard.

A lot of labels can be misleading and not 100% true so ever so a label might say that it's "biodegradable" it might not mean that completely. It might only mean that it's qualified to be that just enough that they don't have to put that it's not. It all depends but I think it's safe to say that it might not exactly mean that it's completely environmentally safe.
