  1. Hitler come to power in Germany by being appointed chancellor by the German president due to the people´s pressure. After having failed seizing the power in the "putsch" of 1923, an attempt of military coup, the NAZI party change its tactics to a more political strategy and succeded in elections after the great depresion of 1929.
  2. The Paris Peace Conference affected the Arabs because some Arabs lands were made mandates of European powers. Better known as the the Versailles Peace Conference it was a meeting of the victorious allied powers after the end of World War I. On it the countries who had won distribute the mandates the Ottoman empire had overseas and in which respect of the Arab lands, they soliciting the indepence before the war but instead they were made mandates of European countries such as France and Britain. It affected the Arabs because they did not win anything.
  3. Ghandi´s mainly inspiration for his push towards Indian independence from Britain was Ahimsa and civil disobedience. Ahimsa is a radical non violence and respect for living things based in Hindu tradition and civil disobedience is the refusal to respect or obey laws under the consideration of being unjust.
  4. Einstein´s theories challenge the accepted views of the universe by the proposal that the measurement of the time and space were relative rather than fixed. The theory of special relativity explains how space and time are linked for objects that are moving at a consistent speed in a straight line. One of its most famous aspects concerns objects moving at the speed of light. Before Einstein´s discovery the understood the universe in the terms of the three laws of motion proposed by Isaac Newton.
