The answer to this question is energy.

Explanation:

All the natural processes taking place on this Universe requires Energy. We have energy stored in different forms in all objects on earth. Like chemical energy is responsible for different chemical reactions for example the formation of ATP in living organisms. Thermal energy that is present in the form heat and Kinetic energy is present in moving objects. Energy can not be created or destroyed. However it can be change from one form to another.  That's how all the processes on earth keep going.

Each and every natural process of earth requires energy.  Energy is the source of urge to all the natural processes to occur. Energy is mainly obtained from Sun. But other forms of energy i.e. Geothermal energy, chemical energy are of earth’s itself.

Without energy, neither of the active processes of earth can occur. There won’t be any rainfall, no rivers, and no photosynthesis. There won’t be any seasonal changes as well. All the natural phenomenon needs energy to occur.
