Although determined to kill the fish, Santiago says that he loves and respects it, and on the third day of his struggle he says,
bixtya [17]

Answer:

Santiago is ennobled for having managed to fight such a majestic fish. This defines his character, as someone he recognizes as a wonderful openente, besides, he already feels victorious for being able to face this openente, even if it causes his death.

Explanation:

Although you haven't shown the book that this question refers to, we can see that you have an excerpt from "The Old Man and the Sea," which is a book that tells the story of Santiago, an aging fisherman who can't catch anything for days, until he came across the most wonderful, majestic, and tough fish he'd ever seen. During this fishing, Santiago learns many concepts and begins to interpret life, the sea and fishing in different ways. These reflections make Santiago admire the fish and see him as a wonderful opponent. He feels good to be able to participate in this fishing and although he wants to kill the fish, he doesn't care if the fish kills him, because he already feels victorious.

In this lesson, you learned the steps for long division. Fill in the steps below. Steps for long division:
yawa3891 [41]
First you look at the fraction.
second u put the numerator inside of the division symbol
three u put the denomonator on the outside of the division symbol
fouth then u look at it and for example say this was mine 2 divison symbol then inside would be 8 okay
fifth then you would say how many times does 2 go into 8 well it would be 2×4 bc that equals eight.

I dont know if i helped u that much but i tried.

Elena-2011 [213]

Answer:

a). 1.18 m

b). 0.67 s

c). 3.5 \frac{m}{s}

Explanation:

a=-g*sen*(32)= -5.1932 \frac{m}{s^{2} }= -5.2 \frac{m}{s^{2} }

a).

V_{f} ^{2} =V_{i} ^{2}+2*a*d , V_{f} =0, V_{i} =3.5\frac{m}{s }

d= \frac{3.5^{2}\frac{m}{s}  }{2*5.2\frac{m}{s^{2} } } = 1.179426 m\\d=1.18m

b).

V_{f} = V_{i} + a *t , V_{f} =0, V_{i} =3.5\frac{m}{s }

0 = 3.5 + 5.2*t

t= \frac{3.5 \frac{m}{s} }{5.2 \frac{m}{s^{2} } }

t= 0.67 s

c).

V_{f} ^{2} =V_{i} ^{2}+2*a*d, V_{i} =0

V_{f} ^{2} = 0 + 2* 5.2 \frac{m}{s^{2} } * 1.18m = 12.272 \frac{m^{2} }{s^{2} }

V_{f} =\sqrt{12.272 \frac{m^{2} }{s^{2} } } =3.503 \frac{m}{s}

How does the evidence most support the central idea that Gandhi recognized indentured servants’ brutal treatment? The evidence e
-BARSIC- [3]

Answer:

The evidence details how Gandhi saw a man who had been beaten and knew that the man could not leave.

Explanation:

Hello. You did not submit the text to which this question refers, which makes it impossible for this question to be answered. However, when searching for your question, I found another question exactly like yours, which featured an excerpt from the book "Sugar Changed the World," specifically, the excerpt that relates the time when Ghandi went to work as a lawyer in South Africa, where there were many Indians who were hired to work in the sugar cane fields.

During his stay in South Africa, Ghani was able to witness an Indian, who worked in these fields, with his clothes torn, his face bruised and his mouth bleeding, in addition to having broken teeth and crying a lot. This man had been violently beaten by his employer. Ghandi realizes how the workers are treated with violence and cannot do anything to protect themselves, as if they leave their jobs, they can be arrested and further mistreated.
