In Catherine Opie’s "Melissa & Lake, Durham, North Carolina," the depiction of gender is made ambiguous for what reason
marta [7]

Answer:

To challenge assumptions about identity based on appearances.

Explanation:

"Melissa & Lake, Durham, North Carolina" is part of a photography series called "Domestic." Catherine Opie was trying to portray gender fluidity by showing non-straight people and couples doing mere activities and without overpowering her photographs with distractors, making them as simple as possible as to challenge the public to see these people without labels and help them understand that identity is not based on appearances.

1. describe the Gomez's voice from the Addams family
stepladder [879]

Answer:

Gomez Addams in the movie has a deep voice with a spanish accent.

Morticia's voice is different from Gomez's because (1) She has an american accent and (2) Female vocal cords are usually shorter and thinner than most males', which is why their voices sound higher.

When I had first heard Uncle Fester's voice it made me feel as if he was very shy and introverted.

Lurch's voice intimidates me. He sounds as if he had been smoking since he was five. (Gomez has been actually...)

I don't know for sure if this is correct, but I am absolutely obsessed with "The Addams Family"
