Como que el autor expresa un tono melancólico por saber la respuesta a ciertas acciones que el sujeto no entiende ni le son favorables.

El autor utiliza el artículo masculino "El" y femenino "La," por que en el Español ambos son válidos para referirse al mar. El Mar, como sustantivo, y la mar, cuando se dice una frase como, "aventurémonos a la mar, a ver que aventura nos depara."
