Answer:

In DNA replication, cell machinery copies strands of DNA.

Explanation

DNAs, deoxyribonucleic acids, are long-chain, helical macromolecules made of specific sequences of covalently bonded monomers called nucleotides. These contain genetic information essential for growth, reproduction, and cell repair.

Nucleotide monomers are made up of, a 5-Carbon deoxyribose sugar,  one nitrogenous base (adenine, guanine thymine, and cytosine)  and a phosphate group.

Nucleotides, deriving their name from their nitrogenous bases, pair up to form base pairs. In base-pair formation, Adenine and Thymine form double bonds, while cytosine forms triple bonds with guanine...

  1. DNA polymerase facilitates either DNA synthesis, by adding free nucleases to parent strands -these are first unwound and separated by helicases
  2. DNApolys synthesize DNA in 5'-3' direction; due to its restricted movement, there are only two modes of replication: continuous from the point of strand separation, the fork, and discontinuous from the fork.
  3. In continuous replication, DNApolymerase moves uninterrupted along the 3'-5 oriented template, adding nucleotides to the free hydroxyl group at its 3' end to produce the 5'-3' oriented leading strand.
  4. During the synthesis of the 3'-5' oriented lagging strand, DNApolymerase  moves backwards along the template from the replication fork; DNA helicase separates the strands, and DNApoly's addition of nucleotides is periodically interrupted while  forming discontinuous Okazaki fragments. Ligase enzymes assemble nucleotide strands of RNA and DNA -here, DNAligase assembles these fragments into continuous strands, producing two identical new helixes formed from a parent and newly replicated strand respectively.

Anni [7]

Answer:

Dark yellow ,small volume pea.

Infrequent pea.

Dry mouth and tongue.

Sunken eyes.

Dehydration is a condition in which the rate at which the body looses t fluids is higher than the rate at which it takes fluids in.

It is caused by diarrhoea( watery stools )

2.Excessive sweating.

3 vomiting continusly.

4. No access to water intake

5.Polyuria(excessive urination)

6.Fever leading to hyperthermia.

The kidney is the main organ where the effect of dehydration is managed . As a result of increase in the solute potential of the blood,;the hypothalamus secrets ADH hormones which stimulates the Aquaporins(transmembrane proteins in the collecting duct and the distal convoluted tubules) to open .Therefore water moves in by osmosis to reduce the higher solute potential of the blood. Therfore low volume, high concentrated urine is produced.

This homeostatic function of the kidney ensures balanced in the electrolyte fluids of the body to manage dehydration, before medical intervention.

A. a lack of urban health care capacity

B. cultural disregard for women and women's health

C. prudence's family medical history

D. a lack of previous medical problems

Answer:

C. prudence's family medical history

Explanation:

Sociological factors include the factors related to human society. These factors stem from the way a society functions and effects the people which are a part of it. The way the society is structured and developed, impacts the people.

Prudence died during childbirth. There can be many sociological causes of her death like low status of women or poor medical facilities in her society. However, her family medical history will not be considered a sociological factor. Family medical history also depends on other factors like genetic composition of the family which is not a sociological factor.
