Answer:

Option B 161.7 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

In a right angle triangle measure of one angle is given as 23°

Adjacent side or base is given as 27.6 cm.

Hypotenuse length = 30 cm.

We have to find the area of the triangle

Since area of a triangle = \frac{1}{2} (Base) (height)

tan 23° = \frac{height}{Base} = \frac{h}{27.6}

0.42447 =  \frac{h}{27.6}

h = 27.6 × 0.42447 = 11.716 cm

Now area of the triangle =  \frac{1}{2} (27.6) (11.716)

                                         = 161.67 cm² ≈ 161.7 cm²

How can I show the work for 14.4 divided by 90? I forgot how to show it
kolezko [41]
The answer to this problem is 6.25 but in order to show the work you would do <span>90/14.4  and you would just have to work it out.

1.) You would have to move the decimal from 14.4 over one place to make it 144 and also the same for 90, making 900.
2.) Then you would just divide like normal.

8090 [49]

<u>To make this problem solvable, I have replaced the 't' in the second equation for a 'y'.</u>

Answer:

<em>x = -9</em>

<em>y = 2</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Solve the system:</u>

2x + 3y = -12       [1]

2x + y = -16       [2]

Subtracting [1] and [2]:

3y - y = -12 + 16

2y = 4

y = 4/2 = 2

From [1]:

2x + 3(2) = -12

2x + 6 = -12

2x = -18

x = -18/2 = -9

Solution:

x = -9

y = 2
