Can someone please help with this question pleaseee
Ulleksa [173]

Answer: Choice C) 10.5

The distance from A to C is 7 units (count out the spaces between the two points, or subtract y coordinates 4-(-3) = 4+3 = 7)

Let AC = 7 be the base of the triangle. You might want to rotate the image so that AC is laying horizontally rather than being vertical.

Now move to point P. Walk 3 spaces to the right until you land on segment AC. This shows that the height of the triangle is 3 when the base is AC = 7.

base = 7, height = 3

area of triangle = (1/2)*base*height

area of triangle = 0.5*7*3

area of triangle = 10.5 square units

A particular baseball player has a batting average (number of hits/number of times at bat) of 0.364. What is the probability tha
MAXImum [283]
The correct answer is option (c) P(not a hit) = 0.636

The batting average of the baseball player = \frac{number of hits}{number of times at bat} = 0.364

Now, the probability of occurrence of any event is say, P, the probability of not occurrence of the event is given as = 1 - P

Therefore, the probability that he will not get a hit at his next at bat = 1- 0.364 = 0.636

Sally has decided to spend some time over two days soving math problems. She figures that on the first day she wil be able to so
erastova [34]

A system of equations for this would be

19x + 11y = 273

and

12x + 17y = 283.

X is the amount of minutes to solve one long division problem and y is the amount of minutes to solve a graphing problem.

How To Solve This System of Equations.

Multiply both by 17 and 11 respectively for them to have the greatest common factor for y. So now both equations are:

323x + 187y= 4641

132x + 187y= 3113.

Subtract both equations and you have left:

191x = 1528.

Divide both sides by 191 and you find x.

X = 8.

Answer

It takes Sally 8 minutes to do one Long Division Problem.

Hope this helped. ;)
