Conclusion for a bullying essay ( 7 lines )

Answer:

Bullying seems to be a growing problem in schools. The increased use of cell phones and social media only intensifies the problem. Technology has made it easier for students to become bullies. When I use to think of bullying I imagined physically bigger kids picking on smaller ones, someone steeling another person’s lunch money, or putting a kid in the trash can or locker.  Today, these are not the bullying scenes that I see. Exclusion is something I have seen more of recently in schools. In addition, I think that verbal bullying is growing in popularity more than physical bullying. I believe the best way to prevent bullying is to create an atmosphere at school and in the classroom that has a family feel. If everyone feels welcomed and loved, students will be more comfortable around all students. Bullying a can be triggered by age, social class, how one dresses, and many other reasons. Bullying is often not reported and I think that students should know the different between tattling and reporting so they are not afraid to get help for themselves or for others. Looking back at my time as a student through K-12 I can remember a few different scenarios when bullying took place. One case involved a special needs student who was in my class from kindergarten through senior year.

How did Edgar Allan Poe create suspense in his classic horror story, “The Pit and the Pendulum?”
Whitepunk [10]

I think that a big part of the suspense in "The Pit and Pendulum" comes from two sources.

The first is the unknown. The reader has no idea why the protagonist has been arrested and sentenced. The opening paragraphs have him in and out of conscious thought all while hallucinating. We don't know who he is or what he has done to deserve punishment. Once he is in his cell, the unknown continues.

Read the section "Believer By Imagine Dragons."
qaws [65]

Explanation:

Being told what the song is about, helps the reader understand the lyrics.

Because the reader is told what the song is about, we know what the lyrics mean. The lyrics reinforce what the song is about, like how a simile reinforces what a passage is about. Think about this: If an author wrote, "The man was as brave as a lion,", instead of, "The man was brave", this is a much better choice of words.

Similarly to the passage, by using similes in the lyrics to better emphasize overcoming emotional and physical pain, the song helps the reader understand better the message of the song.

Answer:

So, by reading the section, the reader understands that a simile is about two things being compared to one another, like how the song compares physical pain to a choking rain of ashes.

WARRIORS DONT CRY
Sedbober [7]

Answer:

Now, I do not know exactly what you are looking for, but in the first few pages of the book, talk about how she learned from early on that she has to 'fight for herself' to survive. For example, at the hospital, the doctors show minimal to no understanding for her condition. The nurse said, "But we don't coddle n*****s" (Beals 3) which proves that point. And then a bit later, she writes as follows: "Black folks aren't born expecting segregation... the humiliating expectations and traditions of segregation creep over you stealing a teaspoon of your self-esteem each day" (Beals 3). This shows how people of colour were told to fend for themselves ever since they were born. I think that this makes a big point in Beal's POV, because she grows up with this mentality.

Sorry if this is not exactly what you are looking for, but I really tried my best.
